Crucial.com Honored with Environment at Work Award

Environment At Work Award Lexar Media announced that its customer-direct website, Crucial.com, was awarded the first annual “Environment at Work” award by the city of Meridian, Idaho. Crucial.com was chosen to receive the Environment at Work award for implementing unique waste reduction measures through recycling, reduction, reuse, and hazardous waste management. In 2006, Lexar Media, a subsidiary of Micron Technology, Inc., established a new reuse/recycling program at Crucial.com, and employees subsequently recycled more than 77 tons of plastic, cardboard, and pallets in 2007.
